As the Pads have officially stopped taking offers for Peavy. Jake will lead a not that much different team to defend the NL west title. Any questions about not trading Peavy, the state of the team, the aquiring of Tejada, Floyd, and Marshall?

Well my team is hardly a saber's dream. I will be very frusterated through out the year with my teams inability to draw a walk. Giles will be fine in that category, and with Tejada's,Floyd's, and Agon's power we should be able to score some sluggling percentage. Peavy,Maddux, and Lopez, are fine 1-3, the 4th and 5th spots leave some concern. Spring training will feature about 6 pitchers going for 2 spots. The pads after spending most of the offseason, trying to get Bay, or Burrell, will most likely go into the season as is.

Sounds like you have a good plan in place.
If you had to say right now, who would you put as the likely favorites to make your rotation out of the Spring for that 4th,5th spot ?

Marshall, and Brazelton are probably the favorites, but it will be known that the leasch is very short, and after a month, they will be replaced if not performing up to snuff.

If you had to guess how many other GMs in this league have come to you with the question "Trade BSL?"? Also if you could just give a percentage of exaclty how many of those teams either A) had a plan what they wanted to do or B) even knew what team you were.

Question 1, I would say 20-22 have said Trade BSL Question A, 0% Question B 2% 98% will ask so what team are you, and just want to make a trade, because they are either bored, or just feel like making a trade.

How many people actuallh have a plan in place when they IM somebody? Not many.
I understand they should atleast know what they want, and what team they have, but to IM someone with an offer in hand should not be expected.

Yeah but why bother. I mean look at my trade block like 6 people said Miggy please I want Miggy. Miggy looks great! Yet I got two offers.
Maybe not having a trade proposal should be expected but at least knowing what team I am. I think that should be expected at the very least.
