CF Carlos Beltran (MLB)
SP Aaron Heilman (MLB)
SP Dave Williams (AAA)
SP Donald Sawyer (AA)
Royals agree to the deal. Hard to take on Beltran's salary, but with the salaries of Sweeney, Elarton, and Grudz coming off the books, the Royals can afford him. He makes my offense go with Swisher, Hall, Teahen, and Butler already there. Heilman is a replacement for my rotation. Dave Williams is somewhat decent, and maybe ill get lucky with Sawyer since he's only 18. Pelfrey is a good enough #2 and Heilman or Jason Jennings will just fill the #3 hole in the rotation.
