A lineup that as recently as a month ago featured the likes of Nick Punto, Jason Tyner and Luis Rivas is now one of the most potent in all of baseball. The rapid transformation of the Twins from an all pitching, light hitting club to an all-around well balanced club has put them in prime position to make a run in the competitve AL Central. The Twins dealt closer Joe Nathan along with Punto to acquire 31 year old all-star SS Carlos Guillen from the Tigers. Guillen (above) will add a solid bat to the middle of the lineup. Next, the Twins dealt franchise player Torii Hunter and super prospect Fransico Liriano to the Reds in exchange for the speedy utility man Ryan Freel, Highly developed OF prospect Jay Bruce, top notch reliever Todd Coffey and the slugging Adam Dunn. Freel will bring a solid leadoff man to the table and Coffey will help to fill the void left by Nathan. Bruce has much untapped potential and will patrol the OF. After acquiring Dunn, the Twins flipped him to the Mets along with Rivas, prospect Denard Span and a draft choice for the MVP-Caliber CF Carlos Beltran (below) Beltran brings speed, power and incredible defense to Minnesota, whose fans will almost immediately forget about Torii Hunter when they see Mr. Beltran patrolling CF. Still solid is the Twins rotation, headed by defending Cy Young winner Johan Santana. Along with Santana will be phenoms Scott Baker, Matt Garza and Boof Bonser and the solid veteran Sidney Ponson. The rotation is backed by a strong bullpen with the likes of Pat Neshek, Jesse Crain, Coffey, and Juan Rincon. It should be an exciting year for the Twins.

This gets a 33. 1 more picture would have been nice, could have been a little more developed and a little longer. Spelling and grammar was fine.
