Houston is not known for their baseball. in their 42 year history the astros have only won 4 Central Division titles, 1 Pennant and a grand total of ZERO World Series. Things aren't looking any better for the Astros as they had the worst record in baseball last year. This forced a move in the front office and a new General Manager rose to the occasion and promised change. The new gm will do 3 things Destroy, Fire Sale, and Rebuild.
We had some time to talk to the new gm and asked him a few questions:
Reporter: How do you feel about your team today?
Astros gm: I feel disgusted in how they play. There is no chemistry between the players and change is a desperate need.
Reporter: What are your plans to turn this team around.
Astros gm: Destroy, Fire Sale, and Rebuild
Reporter: What does that mean???
Astros gm: There will be a huge change. Look for key players like Berkman and Lee to be leaving the team. We are looking at a major rebuilding stage.
Reporter: Are you afraid something might go wrong with your plan?
Astros gm: No, because the team is already bad and really can't get any worse. I feel it is the right decision to make.
Reporter: Thank you for your time.
Astros gm: No problem.
Look for Berkman going yard in a different uniform next season.
Carlos Lee wont be smiling in an Astros uniform anymore.
Astro players were so emmbarrased they had to hide their faces from the home crowd last year
