I think we should have give out season awards points too. How about this:
Team awards:
Winning Division- 50 points
Winning Wild Card- 20 points
Most improved team from previous season- 30 points
Best overall regular season record- 20 points
Win World Series- 70 points
GM of the Year: 55 points (nominations/vote on)
Individual awards:
MVP- 60 points
Cy Young- 60 points
Rookie of the Year- 40 points
Rolaids Relief Man Award- 20 points (nominations/vote on)
Making All-Star Team- 10 points each
Silver Slugger- 10 points each (nominations/vote on)
Gold Glove- 10 points each
Best Trade- 10 points (nominations/vote on)
Individual Records:
5 points for every 10 games you team wins
30 points for breaking a team season record
60 points for breaking a league season record
Achievements:
No hitter- 10 points
Cycle- 10 points
3 HR game- 5 points
Triple Crown- 70 points (it's rare so ya)
