You edited Mark Kotsay and raised his contact and gap almost 20 points each. He has a career average of .285 and averages 33 doubles per year. Don't you think you went a littles A LOT overboard with this edit? Don't you think having an "Edit Council" would be fair?

At this point yeah. Still 33 doubles is fairly high and .285 deserves a higher contact rating of 55 correct? I also fell into the trap of not knowing those leaderboard appearances from last year were from OOTP and not real life. So, yeah it went overboard, but not on purpose by any means. In terms of an edit council, it would have been a good idea about a week ago. But, since we are starting today, it's not worth it seeing as how there will be no more edits.

You have six potential starters and you can only use 5? Do you plan to trade one or hold on to one and use him in the bullpen? If you are looking to trade one, who would be available and what would it cost teams to get him?

Right now, we're open to anything. As of now, Wake is going into the pen and will be used in spot starts here and there. We are open to offers on any of our pitchers, but some will obvioulsy be harder to get than others.

Why was Papelbon traded?

Look at what we got. We felt if we could add another young player to our arsenal and then proceed to add a good bullpen arm, Okajima could fill the closer's role and be effective there. By getting one of the best young CF in the game and a pick, to go along with TWO solid relievers, we felt that we got a great deal. It hurts to let Pap go, but it was worth it for us.

What are your plans this offseason to not let another world series loss happen?

It's really actually simple. We have a couple guys we are looking to move and a couple we are looking to sign. We have a dominant rotation but the bullpen was filled with decency. While we don't think that will happen again, we do need a legitimate closer. We feel Okajima will help more setting up, along with a guy we will sign in FA. We are also looking to sign a specific player and couple him with 2 good prospects to get a top-of-the-line SP. Finally, we need 1 more bat. Looking at the FA pool, you can all figure out who this is.

Really good question. If I had to make one, it would go something like this:
Lineup
SS Derek Jeter 2B Julio Lugo DH David Ortiz 3B Alex Rodriguez 1B Ryan Howard RF J.D. Drew LF Delmon Young C Jason Varitek CF Mark Kotsay
Rotation
1. Daisuke Matsuzaka 2. Roy Halladay 3. Brandon Webb 4. Scott Kazmir 5. Barry Zito
Bullpen
Middle Relievers
1. Fernando Rodney 2. Amborix Burgos 3. Manny Delcarmen 4. Jason Frasor
Set-Up
1. B.J. Ryan 2. Hideki Okajima
Closer
1. Mariano Rivera
Now, it might sound a little biased with the amount of Red Sox on this list, but some positions are seriously lacking. We have four very deserving shortstops, yet not 1 good second baseman, possibly outside of Alex Cora. Same deal in CF. Kotsay is the best we have to offer when you look at Patteron, Johnson, Damon, Kotsay, and Williams. Biased maybe, but it's just the descrepancies at some positions versus the depth at others.

What do you feel is more important to a team, power or speed?

Power for sure. You need a combination of both, yet, how much can speed really help? Speed can get you a single and 2 SB's, but speed usually doesn't result in stealing home. You need power guys to put up the monster numbers of AVG, HR, and RBI to get it done. However, a team does need both, but having a big 3 or an even better 3-4 is much more important.
