You have picked up some good young arms in Joel Zumaya and Francisco Liriano, even though injured. Is Cincinnati's plan to completely rebuild ?

In a way, yes I am trying to rebuild this team. I'm not trying to completely rebuild it, but I am trying to bring in some young arms, like Liriano and Zumaya to go with Bailey to start to build around, and mix bats like Encarnacion, Pena, and Phillips with proven veterans like Griffey Jr and Torii Hunter and see what happens from there.

When is Joey Votto going to get the call up? Also is he the answer at 1B?

Actually, he did just get called up recently to play as just a fill in when he is needed off the bench. We're not really sure if he will be the answer at first base or not. We have Iwamura there now and he looks to be a pretty solid player right now and hopefully that will continue in the future. Yes, Iwamura can play third base also, but right now we have Encarnacion there and we don't think that he will be going anywhere anytime soon, but you never know for sure. We will just have to wait and see what happens before we determine if we should keep Votto is if we should trade him elsewhere for a position that is needed.
