Edits can be a troublesome thing, but they are a great idea as long as there are limits.
Limit the number of edits allowed per team (3-5).
Use the following form:
(ML/AAA/AA/A) - Player Name - Position
Current Overall: X-X-X
Current Talent: X-X-X
Proposed Overall: X-X-X
Proposed Talent: X-X-X
PROOF
Proof = stats. Minor leagues, majors, whatever. But they have to be legit. No stats, no edit. Also, don't make crazy edits based on one year. For example, Freddy Sanchez, based on his 2006, should have a 100 contact rating. However, that was one good year. His current rating of 80something is fine.
Also, make GMs PM the edit requests to a Mod. Don't make them public, as other GMs shouldn't be able to see what other GMs are requesting. If he so chooses, the Commish can make a "Approved Edits" thread.
